Exec Sys Sponsors
Harlequins Rugby League
It all started in June 1980 when Fulham Football Club announced the formation of a Rugby League team. A successful first season with good turnouts was followed by a steady decline. In 1991 a name change to London Crusaders and backing from Virgin Group coincided with an entertaining period on the pitch. In the spring of 1994 it was announced that Brisbane Broncos would buy the club, the name once again changed this time to London Broncos.
In July 2005 the Club announced a new Chairman and majority shareholder. A few weeks later in August, the club made the momentous announcement that at the conclusion of Super League X, London Broncos would form a relationship with Harlequins RFC to provide the opportunity to watch year round professional rugby in South West London. It was at this stage that Harlequins Rugby League came into being. The deal was sealed with the move to the newly renamed Twickenham Stoop stadium.
It was in 2006 that Exec Sys entered the scene by taking over the IT function for Harlequins Rugby League. As one of the proud sponsors, Exec Sys has its logo displayed on the first team’s rugby jersey and on their website.
H.O.P.E. Community Centre
The H.O.P.E. Community Centre is a multi-cultural community resource centre, in the heart of Harrogate town centre, serving North Yorkshire and adjoining areas.
Their primary focus is to embrace diversity by extending services to people from all different backgrounds. They plan to accomplish this by providing assistance to foreign nationals new to Harrogate and by serving as a resource hub of information for individuals and families in the area.
Exec Sys’ sponsorship of The H.O.P.E. Community Centre started in December 2008 when they approached the Centre with a proposal that would provide a complete IT solution. Exec Sys provides these services as part of its community responsibility program.
